How to Access the Facebook Mobile Center and Buy Data via Free Facebook

_{For Smart Prepaid and TNT subscribers}

If you’re using Free Facebook, now called Basic Mode Plus, you can conveniently buy data or borrow load directly via the app using the Facebook Mobile Center—no need to switch apps or open a browser.

Step 1: Open Facebook Mobile Center

While in Basic Mode Plus, tap the “Buy data” button in the top-right corner.

To access the Mobile Center, make sure that:

• You are using the Facebook app or Facebook Lite on an Android device (not available on iOS)
• You are using a Smart Prepaid or TNT SIM
• You are connected to Smart or TNT mobile data and Wi-Fi is off
• You have opted in to Free Facebook (Basic Mode Plus)

Step 2: Borrow Load or Buy a Data Pack

Borrow Load

You may opt to borrow load via Smart Prepaid’s Loan-a-Load or TNT’s Utang na Load. The borrowed amount will be deducted from your next top-up. 

To proceed, simply tap “Get” beside your preferred offer.

Buy a Data Pack

Scroll down to see Smart Prepaid’s or TNT’s popular data promos. You may also find exclusive or personalized offers based on your usage.

Tap “Buy” beside your chosen offer.

Tip: Pay using GCash, Maya, or a credit/debit card—no transaction fees apply.

Step 3: Confirm Your Purchase

Follow the on-screen prompts to finalize your transaction. You’ll receive an SMS confirmation once successful, and the load or data will be applied to your account.

Need Help?

If the Facebook Mobile Center doesn’t load or respond, try the following:

• Restart your Android device
• Turn off WiFi and re-enable mobile data
• Reopen the Facebook app

Alternatively, you may get your load via the Smart Online Store or the Smart App.
