How to Apply for a Smart Home WiFi Postpaid Plan
Smart Home WiFi Postpaid gives you fast, reliable 5G internet at home with simple monthly plans. Here’s what you need to know to apply.
Step 1: Check if Your Area is Covered
- Smart Home WiFi Postpaid runs on SMART’s 5G network (up to 600 Mbps)
- Performance depends on signal strength, obstructions, and network traffic at your registered address
- Ask a Smart representative or check Smart Home WiFi Postpaid’s Page to confirm if your area has 5G coverage
Step 2: Prepare Your Requirements
When applying at a Smart Store or through an assisted channel, make sure to bring:
- Signed Subscriber Application Form (SAF)
- One (1) valid government-issued ID
- Proof of billing or proof of address (for new customers)
- Financial documents (if required based on credit evaluation)
- Secondary mobile number – needed to link your account to the Smart App for service updates
Step 3: Choose Your Plan
Smart Home WiFi Postpaid offers two main plans:
- Plan 999 – 200GB + 2GB/day (after cap reached), with device cashout of ₱995
- Plan 1499 – Unlimited 5G data, with FREE modem (worth ₱4,990)
Both plans come with a 24-month lock-in period.
Step 4: Undergo Credit Evaluation
- Smart checks your credit score with TransUnion and/or financial documents to validate your application
- Approval depends on your MAP score, financial capacity, or existing Smart/PLDT account standing
- You may be required to pay 1–2 months Advance Monthly Service Fee (AMSF) and device cashout (for Plan 999) upon approval
Step 5: Application and Handover
- Sign the subscription contract and complete payment of AMSF/device cashout
- Smart will assign your Smart Home WiFi Number (MIN), insert the SIM into the modem, and place the warranty sticker
- You’ll receive a copy of the Handover and VPD Waiver, which confirms your acceptance of the plan, warranty, and satisfaction guarantee terms
Step 6: 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
- All new subscribers enjoy a 30-day trial to test Smart 5G at their registered address.
- If the service doesn’t meet your expectations, you may return the modem within 30 days and request disconnection.
- Within 7 days: Full refund of AMSF + device cashout (Plan 999), no termination fee
- 8–30 days: Prorated refund of AMSF + full device cashout (Plan 999), no termination fee
- After 30 days, standard pre-termination fees apply
Step 7: Enjoy Your Smart Home WiFi
- Download the Smart App to monitor usage, pay bills, earn rewards, and buy boosters
- Your monthly bill will be sent via email or accessible in the Smart App
