Did you know that some of the programs in your computer might cause slower PC start up?
When you start your computer, Windows isn't the only program that loads. Other programs also launch when the system starts. These programs run silently in the background every time you boot the PC, and they consume system memory, possibly dragging down performance.
You can manage which programs you allow to launch upon startup, and disable those you don't need. Here's how:
- Go to START menu
- On the search box, type msconfig
- Click msconfig
- On the Startup tab, deselect programs you dont need.
- Click Apply and then ok.
Having fewer programs running during startup may help your computer load faster.
