What are GigaPoints?

GigaPoints is Smart’s loyalty and rewards program that gives more value to every transaction you make on the Smart App.

1 GigaPoint = ₱1, giving you the power to redeem rewards your way—whether it’s data promos, vouchers, event tickets, or even premium items.

With GigaPoints, every tap on the Smart App brings you closer to the rewards you deserve. 

How to Earn GigaPoints

Earning GigaPoints has never been this easy! Only transactions made on the Smart App earn you GigaPoints, so keep the app handy and ready to use daily.

Here’s how you can start earning:

  • Sign up and log in to the Smart App – Download the Smart App and create your account to start your GigaPoints journey.
  • Link a payment method – Secure your transactions and make it easier to earn rewards.
  • Add load – Whenever you top up through the app, you get GigaPoints in return.
  • Subscribe to promos – Get the data, calls, and texts you need while racking up points.
  • Pay your postpaid bill on time & in full – Responsible bill payments keep your account in good standing and give you more GigaPoints.
  • Join Smart App campaigns – Watch out for exciting activities that let you score even more points!

Want to know your GigaPoints balance? Simply log in to the Smart App to check anytime.

Redeeming Your GigaPoints

Once you’ve earned enough points, turning them into exciting rewards is quick and easy. With just a few taps on the Smart App, you can redeem data promos, vouchers, event tickets, and even premium items.

Just follow these steps:

  1. Open the Smart App and tap the GigaPoints section by clicking the gift icon.
  2. Browse and choose your desired promo or reward.
  3. Click Redeem to claim it instantly.

GigaPoints Expiration

Your earned GigaPoints are valid for at least six (6) months, giving you plenty of time to enjoy exclusive rewards from Smart and its partners.

Here’s how it works:

Validity period: Unredeemed points will expire 6 months after the quarter they were earned, scheduled on the 30th or 31st of the last month of the expiry quarter.

Example:

If you earned 100 GigaPoints on January 26, 2025 (within the 1st quarter of 2025), they will expire on September 30, 2025 (end of the 3rd quarter of 2025).

Redemption order: GigaPoints follow a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis—points you earned first will be the first ones used when you redeem.

So remember—your GigaPoints last at least half a year, but don’t wait too long! Redeem them early and make the most out of your rewards.

Pasa Points

Pasa Points is a Smart App feature that lets you transfer your earned GigaPoints to any valid Smart Prepaid, TNT, or Smart Postpaid number (excluding Smart Infinity) linked to your account. With Pasa Points, you can easily share rewards with your family and friends so they can redeem exciting offers in the Smart App.

Smart Prepaid, TNT, and Smart Postpaid subscribers are eligible to transfer and receive points. Meanwhile, Smart Bro Prepaid, Smart Home WiFi Prepaid/PLDT Home Prepaid WiFi, Smart Bro Postpaid, and Smart Home WiFi Postpaid subscribers can only receive points but cannot transfer.

You can transfer as low as 5 GigaPoints, with a maximum of 200 GigaPoints per month per Smart App account. GigaPoints received through Pasa Points are not shareable to other Smart App users and will follow their original expiry date. A ₱1.00 transaction fee will be deducted from your load or charged to your bill for every transfer.
